The CTRL top is a relaxed, mesh top with short sleeves and a collar. It suits various gender expressions, body types, seasons, and styles. 

The Pattern
The pattern is written in English, uses standard US crochet terminology, and is advanced beginner friendly.

The pattern is made to measure, meaning that you can customize the lengths and widths of each component of the top. The pattern is designed for the top to be worn open, so attempting to make a top that can close by adding buttons will impact your ability to complete the top.

Your purchase of the CTRL Top Pattern includes:
1. The CTRL Top Pattern PDF, which includes some video of special stitches, and some photos alongside instructions AND instructions on how to work a defined stripe (shown in picture 2)
2. A second, print-friendly PDF of the pattern.
3. A crochet pattern that has been tested by various crochet artists of sizes XS-XXL.
4. A Look Book, which features tester photos for inspiration.

Materials
Fiber
 - Quantity: Over 400 yards of yarn, 150 - 250 g
 - Weight: 3/DK, or 4/Worsted/Medium
Hook*
 - For size 3/DK yarn: US J (6.0 mm) hook
 - For size 4/Worsted/Medium yarn: US H (5.0 mm) hook 

Other

 - Measuring tape

 - Stitch markers

 - Darning needle or smaller hook to join pieces 

*Check which hook works best with your yarn and tension. The squares should be a bit larger than 1 inch on both sides. The thinner yarn uses a bigger hook to make the squares larger.
